On behalf of Taiwanese Scholar Association in St. Louis (TSA-STL, 聖路易台灣學者協會), we would like to invite you to join the 2020 TSA-STL Symposium webinar series ““Bridge to the world, put innovation into practice; 接軌國際 落實創新” starting on April 25th, 2020.

Our goals are to organize Taiwanese graduate students, postdocs, scholars, clinicians, physician scientists, faculty and life science professionals in the greater St. Louis area and to promote communication and collaboration among these biomedical professionals. The Symposium is organized by Dr. Tsen-Hsuan (Abby) Lin 林岑軒 and Mr. Hsi-Chuan (Andrew) Wang 王璽權 and enthusiastic organizing committee members with financial support by generous sponsors. With their endless efforts, we will present a broad-spectrum programthat includes two keynote speakers: 蔡秀娟博士, 吳季芳博士 and six lightning speakers: 董美伶博士 (教育), 葉乃華博士候選人 (化學), 鄞宗誠醫師 (醫學), 謝宛蓉博士班研究生 (社工), 呂雅琳博士候選人 (免疫學), 陳南旭博士候選人 (歷史).

These speakers are experts in their fields and their topics will cover the biomedical science, social work sciences, emotion management, Taiwan history and the State-of-the-Art Technology.

To help stop the spread of the coronavirus, we have changed our symposium into a brand new format, a webinar series spanning five consecutive Saturdays (4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23). On each Saturday, we will have 50- to 60-minute presentations from keynote and lightning speakers with different expertise. 

 

We hope this webinar symposium will provide you opportunities for intellectual conversations and networking and help you develop your career via learning precious lessons from the speakers. This symposium is open to public and free of charge. Please register online before April 22nd, 2020.
